Ovum is delighted to announce that David Bannister, one of the most respected commentators in the financial technology industry, will be joining its Financial Services practice in January to develop and grow its research across the wholesale payments and corporate banking areas.

Before moving to Ovum, David was the editor of Banking Technology, one of the leading fintech publications in the industry. He has been covering technology issues for 36 years and specialising in financial technology for the past 24.

David is a well-known panellist and speaker on the conference circuit and has taken part in many international events, including Sibos, the International Payments Summit, EBAday and the ISITC Vendor Forum. He has also provided consultancy and training for a number of leading IT and financial technology providers including IBM, HP, Misys, and Oracle.
