BSE to deliver high-speed public Wi-Fi services along with Tata Docomo. The service, which was officially unveiled by Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for Communications & Information Technology, Government of India, brings to fore the growing importance of internet services for government as well as corporate businesses. Through the partnership, free Wi-Fi services will be made available around the area of PJ Tower to public free of charge for 4 hours in a day to start with.
Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for Communications & Information Technology, Government of India, said, “Mumbai is the financial hub of India and the BSE represents one of the key business centers in the city. Our aim is to modernize such influential structures that represent the true spirit of a metro like Mumbai. This initiative is a stepping stone in our endeavor towards evolving infrastructure development across the state; given the significance of internet these days, this will definitely benefit everyone.
