Airtel has stated in yet another clarification that it fully supports the concept of Net Neutrality. It said, "There have been some misconceptions about our toll free data platform - Airtel Zero. It is a not a tariff proposition but is an open marketing platform." While Airtel clarifies its stand, experts and people in support of the net neutrality have sensed that somewhere down the line operators will follow suite and increase the charges for the internet use on mobile handsets. This will bar users from using all websites at the same price.

Airtel has played a new card in the market to cast a spell on consumers who like to use new apps yet want not to pay for the data used for them. If Airtel is to be believed, Airtel Zero is an open marketing platform that will allow customers to access mobile applications at zero data charges.
